You can take part in the search for groundbreaking cures for diseases like Alzheimer's, cancers and infectious diseases such as Ebola. Lend your smartphone processing power to science while you sleep. It costs you nothing. It helps a lot.
Sony has teamed up with a group of Stanford University (California, USA) scientists to help in their quest to find cures for many of our most common diseases. These scientists studying protein folding need to carry out millions of complicated calculations in order to move forward in their search. Together we will find the cure faster.
By signing up to Folding@home you can help science by making the processing power of your smartphone available to researchers while you’re not using it.
Sony and Stanford University guarantee that there is no security risk involved in this service. We do not access or use any internal/external phone memory, application data or function. Only your processing power and Wi-Fi connection. That is what we need.
